Long time, no blog. I've finally been getting settled down here in Cleveland, so expect to see a bit more posts here.
Anyway, my recent project has been a bit of an interesting thing on the mbed. I built a super simple curses "replacement" named TermControl. It's not really a curses replacement. It's basically just a very dumb class that prints out arbitrary escape codes that just happen to control a VT100 compliant terminal(emulator). It's pretty cool though. I made it because ncurses was just way too huge for the job I needed. All I need is a way to control cursor position and occasionally clear the screen.
Anyway, It's MIT licensed so use it, extend it, whatever.
